1. Overview
Zend_Ria_Appcelerator is purely a demonstration application that illustrates the integration between Appcelerator's RIA platform and the Zend Framework. It does not include a complete copy of the Appcelerator Platform, just the parts necessary for Zend, PHP, and the demo application.

3. Component Requirements, Constraints, and Acceptance Criteria
- This demo will show developers how to build an RIA using Appcelerator for the UI and ZendFramework and PHP for the serverside.
- This demo will illustrate building a standalone rich web-client that communicates with PHP purely through JSON services
- This demo will not inlcude the entire Appcelerator Platform (which includes Java, .Net, Ruby, Eclipse, ...)

5. Theory of Operation
The rich web client will provide a rich web interface to twitter that looks more like a desktop application.

This is a fairly light effort and the entire demo application along with documentation is being delivered as a single milestone.
