Thomas Weidner

Thomas Weidner is Head of Web Development at Voxtronic Technology.

Originally he came from the telecommunication side of life also known as telecommunications engineer working with PBX and TELCOs.
In young ages he managed to become a computer freak beginning with commodore 64 and usenet.
Later on he created several web pages for companys with his own small one-man company.

Now in this aera of time he is the head of web development and 2 other software related departments at Voxtronic Technology, a company which is known for its innovative web based voice recording solutions.

As someone may wonder why his picture is a little black sheep let's say this guy is a cute fellow which belongs to his 2 daughters

Related to the Zend Framework:

My main intention contributing to the Zend_Framework is to let this project become a great base for other PHP projects.

I have been choosen to become the main leader for the Locale I18N Team.

And I am also the main author and the driving kraft for the following Framework classes

• Zend_Locale
• Zend_Translate
• Zend_Date
• Zend_Calendar
• Zend_Measure
• Zend_Currency

So I wish everybody "Happy Frameworking"...
