Component Maintainers for ZF 2.0
Your Framework Needs YOU!
Moving forward into 2.0, there are many components which currently are lacking anyone committing time and effort to maintenance in the 1.x series. If these components are to be included in 2.0, they are going to require new maintainers.
If you are interested in taking over maintaining a component, offer some time to resolve issues, or offer code reviews, then this is the place to let people know that your interested, and the sorts of areas you think your talents would best be used.
What do I need to do?
Simply list your name below, along with where you think your best suited to work, and what you think you can bring to the component.
Will I be accepted?
If you have something to offer, and are willing to step up to the plate, then you will not be refused. The only requirements are that you have signed the CLA, and are willing to commit a little time (as much or as little as you wish). Even if you are not appointed the component lead for the component you registered your interest for, this does not mean that your contribution is any less valuable, or less welcome. You could simply nominate yourself for another component, or simply help with patches, testing, and documentation.
Who is welcome to put their name forward?
YOU!
Developers & Maintainers?
People who maintain a component are expected to develop code as well and since putting the same name twice behind each component is a waste of time, names are listed only once per component.
Where do I signup?
To get the ball rolling below is the table copied mostly from the current maintainers list. If there is a component your interested in, which you don't see listed here, put your name down, you could well be the new maintainer. If you think you have something to bring to a component which already has a maintainer, put your name down, your contributions will be valuable (Component maintainers have limited resources too!).
