In the second codebox is a syntaxerror. The correct codesnippet would look like this : $validator = new Zend_Validate_Date(array('format' => 'yyyy MMMM', 'locale' => 'de'));

$validator->isValid('2010 Dezember'); // Gibt true zurück $validator->isValid('2010 June'); // Gibt false zurück

Issue was also present in French (fr) manual page.

Fixed in trunk r24536 Merged to release-1.11 in r24537
