In the _flush() function on line 314 of Zend_Cache_Frontend_Page it does not pass the specific lifetime argument to Zend_Cache_Core->save()

If this is by design, then the documentation doesn't make it clear that you cannot specify lifetime for Page cached files.

it is not possible with 1.6 release

but it is fixed in SVN trunk (code and documentation)
