ZF-5228: Dojo form view helper overrides default form view helper

Issue Type: Improvement Created: 2008-12-12T07:24:33.000+0000 Last Updated: 2013-02-10T16:01:18.000+0000 Status: Open Fix version(s): Reporter: Matthew Weier O'Phinney (matthew) Assignee: Matthew Weier O'Phinney (matthew) Tags: - Zend_Dojo

Description

Currently, both Zend_Dojo and Zend_View offer "form" view helpers. Once you have Dojo-enabled a view object, however, only the Zend_Dojo form view helper will ever get selected, which is problematic when you have forms that you do not wish to be Dojo-enabled.

There are two options * Rename the dojo form view helper. This would be a potential BC break for those who call the helper directly. * Add a "disableView" method to Zend_Dojo so that developers can toggle the integration on and off. (This should likely be done regardless).
