The server was writen by Java, using apache xml-rpc lib. The calling method looks like this:

public long bar() {
    return 1234567890;

Then the zend xmlrpc client got a Fatal error:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Zend_XmlRpc_Client_FaultException' with message 'Failed to parse response' in Z:\working\www\foobar\Zend\XmlRpc\Client.php:348 Stack trace: #0 Z:\working\www\foobar\foobar.php(4): Zend_XmlRpc_Client->call('') #1 {main} thrown in Z:\working\www\foobar\Zend\XmlRpc\Client.php on line 348

And this code:

public int bar() {
    return 1234567890;

works fine!

I would need more information to resolve this issue properly. Could you provide a stripped down example (client and server) on how to reproduce the issue?

Have you found an issue?
